Quick(ish) report this week
1st group – Seb, James, Scott M & Tash
James lost his first 2 tee shots and was reported for failing to call blob saver on the 1st hole.
2nd group – Mike H, Alan, Sean & Penguin
Sean was in front of the tees on the 2nd hole
3rd group – Gobby (AKA Hobby), Marc G, Dom & JK
Dom was fined £5 for not taking Shag the Sheep with him last week. Mike paid the extra £5 to make it up to the £10 that was reported last week.
4th group – Chairman Rocky, Sam & Chris
Sam had a miss called blob saver, was fined for talking about cats (something about pussy) and he also played the wrong ball on the 8th.
5th group – Paul, Kev, Witty & Fordy
All the other groups didn’t have much to report unit we got to this group.
Kev was fined for coaching Paul when he told him to “just hit one down the middle”.
Fordy was reported for:
Coaching, improving his lie by stamping down branches, bushes, grass, leaves and anything else that was in his way. He had 2 miss called blob savers, his trolly wheel was on the 5th tee box and for somehow falling over on the 5th green and in the process, moving his ball. As he didn’t replace the ball, he had a penalty and an extra blob and miss call. True to WN form, his playing partners just laughed and didn’t rush to help him. Finally, Mike was also reported for dragging his club through the sand at the start of his back swing in the bunker on the 7th and for swearing at the table.
Witty was reported for causing his ball to move by pressing behind it with his club before taking his swing. He was also coaching and jumped groups to avoid playing with the chairman.
Top scorer, proving that he was deliberately sandbagging last week was Kev with a very impressive 22 points. Kev collected his £15.
NTP was on the 9th and was won by Seb with a shot to around 5 feet behind the hole. Seb also collect his £15 and picked the 4th hole next week. |
